How It All Began

At Tusk Solar Design, our journey began with the strong desire to bring a system-oriented approach to an industry that plagued its consumers with delays and frustrations. The visionary behind this was our founder and CEO, Zach Unson. He set out to craft a premier solar drafting solution after experiencing the inefficiencies of the industry himself.

As the journey gathered momentum, three more mechanical engineers joined in. We didn’t need advertising; our clients’ experiences and their glowing testimonials spoke for themselves. Formerly known as TUSSC Design Services, we’ve evolved into Tusk Solar Design.

Zac launched his career in the solar industry at a top firm right out of college, where his innate social and critical thinking skills quickly propelled him to a leadership role.
